Tracking your medals

Log your Pokémon GO medal progress by hand and show off your best ones.
Niantic doesn't expose medal progress through any public API, so medals aren't scanned automatically like your Trainer Profile stats. You enter your current value yourself, from the Medals tab in-game.

1. Find the Medals tab

On your Trainer Profile page, switch to the Medals tab. Every medal SilphBoard knows about is listed there, grouped by category, grayed out until you've logged a value.

2. Log a score

Tap a medal to open the log form. Enter the current value shown on that medal in-game and the date it's accurate as of, then save. Event badges (medals that are simply earned or not, with no running count) just take a 1.

Each medal's tier requirements (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum) are shown in the form, with tiers you've already reached highlighted. Use Save & next instead of Save to move straight on to the next medal in the list — handy for logging several at once.

Medal stats and history charts are coming soon. Anything you log now is saved and will be included once that ships.

3. Showcase medals on your Trainer Card

In your trainer settings, pick up to 6 medals to feature on your public Trainer Card, alongside your showcase team. Only medals you've logged a value for can be selected — you can't showcase one you haven't tracked yet.

Medals vs. stamps

Medals are Niantic's own in-game badges (type-catching totals, Pokéstops spun, and so on) that you track by hand. Stamps are SilphBoard-specific and awarded automatically for taking part in events and meetups — they're separate collections.
